Amenities close to golden sands

Mablethorpe Beach is only a very short walk from Golden Sands, so it won't take you too long to get your toes in the sand and start building sandcastles. This area of the beach is dog friendly, so your four-legged friends can run for miles and enjoy their holiday too. The Seal Sanctuary is also very close by and is a great day out for families to learn about the various animals kept there.

To get to the town, you can choose to walk, which will take you around 20 - 25 minutes. Alternatively, you catch the pirate bus or Jackson's Land Train, but the times both of these services are operating will depend upon the time of the year you are visiting. If you wanted to travel in style, you could cruise along the seafront on the Famous Mablethorpe Sand Train.

If you are arriving by bus from Skegness to Mablethorpe, I suggest you call a taxi from the bus station, as it would be quite a walk to the park with all of your luggage. I have included a link to some local taxi phone numbers here if you need them.
