Having worked at Golden Sands for a number of years I always enjoyed the atmosphere and surroundings around the park, interacting with the guests was one of the best parts of working there, and the guys on park do a fantastic job of making sure you have a great holiday experience. Sadly I moved on to a different job but will always look back fondly on my time at Golden Sands.

There really is enough for endless days of fun, or the option to sit back and take it easy in the beautiful grounds and surroundings of Golden Sands. It can make for a fantastic opportunity for the kids to learn new things, such as sports, wildlife, arts and crafts and much more.
With a new bar and restaurant refurbishment coming for the 2017 season, the options of food on offer will be better than ever before. Various dishes will be available for you to choose from along with a huge selection of all of your favourite drinks.
There is also a fish and chip shop serving all of the traditional classics we associate with the seaside, and Papa Johns is another choice when it comes to tasty pizza, which was a more than often destination for myself when working on park.
Golden Sands also has a Spar Shop selling warm food throughout the day, as well as your usual snacks and drinks, including a Costa Coffee.
As you would expect with a holiday park there is entertainment to suit all ages. The FunStars do a brilliant job of keeping the kids entertained with things to do throughout the day, including lots of clubs and activities, and entertainment at night.
You can expect fun games played throughout the evening by the FunStars, and they will often entertain you with their shows, on various nights they will introduce quality live acts including, bands. solo artists, and comedians.
Mablethorpe Beach is only a very short walk from Golden Sands, so it wont take you to long to get your toes in the sand and start building sandcastles. This area of the beach is dog friendly so your 4 legged friends can run for miles and enjoy their holiday too.
The Seal Sanctuary is also very close by, and is a great day out for families to learn all about the various animals that are kept there.
To get to the town you can choose to walk, which will take you around 20 - 25 minutes. Alternatively you catch the open top double decker bus, or Jacksons Land Train. Depending upon the time of year, the regularity of the service these two provide can vary. I have included a link in the related articles section at the bottom of this page that has the operating hours of the above two modes of transport into Mablethorpe.
I would suggest that if you are arriving by Bus to Mablethorpe that you call a taxi from the bus station. With all of your luggage it would be quite a walk to the park. I have included local taxi phone numbers in the useful numbers link, this is also in the related articles section.
